Don’t forget: TFAD t-shirt orders are due tomorrow, Nov. 18! Shirts are $15.

All students will need a red TFAD t-shirt for the Holiday Showcase. If your dancer has a shirt from last year, they do not need to purchase a new shirt. Friends and family are also welcome to order a shirt in support of their dancers!

Orders can be placed with Miss Paula at the TFAD front desk during studio hours (4:30-7:30 p.m.) today and tomorrow.

Orders can be placed with Miss Paula at the TFAD front desk during studio hours today (4:30-8:30 p.m.) and Friday (4:30-6:30 p.m.). You can also place your order via phone by calling (765) 894-9888.

HOLIDAY SHOWCASE DRESS CODE

In addition, parents may order black dancewear & tights for the Holiday Showcase through Talent Factory for their convenience. The deadline to order is also Friday, Nov. 18.

BALLET, PRINCESS BALLERINAS, & TINY TOTS – Solid BLACK leotard and ballet skirt or solid BLACK ballet dress, solid color tights (no pattern), ballet shoes.

TAP, JAZZ, HIP HOP, MUSICAL THEATER – Solid black leggings, athletic shorts, sweatpants, or yoga pants are acceptable for jazz, tap, hip hop, & musical theater classes. These will be worn with their red Talent Factory shirts. If you have not purchased a RED TFAD SHIRT the deadline to order is Friday, November 18. We will be open Thurs. 4:30-8:30pm and Fri. 4:30-6:30pm to accept payments by phone or in person.

HAIR – Girls need to have their hair pulled back off of their face. Ponytails, Pigtails, Braids, & Ballerina Buns are all acceptable. Dancers may wear festive holiday bows, but we discourage headbands as they tend to fall off when they are dancing.

Della Dininger (right), pictured with her sister Hattie.

TFAD dancer, Della Dininger, is participating in the first annual Snowflake Princess contest with Kappa Delta Phi Sorority. If she wins, she will be named the Boone County Snowflake Princess 2016, and will get to ride in the Holiday Lights Parade.

To win the contest she needs to collect the most donations from now through Nov. 28!

Her chosen not-for-profit is the Lebanon Area Boys & Girls Club. They will receive 20 percent of the total donations, and the other 80 percent will be distributed through KDP!

A donation can is at Talent Factory Arts & Dance, and at Rinse Hair Design.

Each month we will recognize two TFAD students, teachers, helpers or parents who go the extra mile. Look for a new spotlight in each newsletter!

Name: Dorothy Cotten

Age: 2

TFAD Student Since…: 2015 (1 year)

Current TFAD Classes: Princess Ballet, Hip Hop, & Tap

School Attended: Creation Station Preschool Parent’s Day Out

Favorite dance: Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes!

Fun Fact: Dance runs in my family! Miss. Paula and Mr. Jim are my grandparents, and Miss. Madeline and Miss. Marigrace are my aunts. Even my daddy took dance as a kid (even though he won’t admit it!).

What is your favorite part about TFAD?: “My favorite part of dance class is getting candy from Grammy Paula after I’m done dancing!”
